GrowFaith Vision for the development of a digital discipleship resource.
Why
Jesus Christ was very clear about making disciples. The Uniting Church in Queensland, through its Vision 2020 (Together on the way, enriching community), is exploring the importance of discipleship and looking at potentially developing a resource that helps grow in their Christian faith.
The vision is to see every part of the church growing in their walk with Christ, encouraging each other on the journey, serving in their diverse areas, and sharing their faith with the world. In short: becoming active and accountable disciples of Jesus.
Who
Since July 2011 a core project team has been working on the concept and research phases of the project. The project team has included consultants from various parts of the life of the Uniting Church and beyond for advice on specific components of research and resource development. Following the research phrase, the development phase will call on others to help develop the content.
How
In order to develop this resource, we are asking the church to help us gather critical research data. Please take the time to complete the survey and encourage others to complete it also. Please complete survey by 12pm on Wednesday 29th February.
